
Insomniac Games has yet to reveal an official release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. However, fans of the web-slinger can still satisfy their craving for Spider-Man content with the release of a prequel comic.
This announcement was made alongside the release of the standalone PlayStation 5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. Initially available only in US comic book stores, the comic is now available online for free.
It offers a condensed and standalone story that can help bridge the gap between now and the eventual release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Release Date Rumors

In regard to the release date much awaited sequel, all we have to go on is that it will be dropping sometime this autumn. However, there is speculation that the release could be as early as September, based on a comment made by Venom actor Tony Todd in a now-deleted Twitter thread.
The tweet read “Massive publicity coming in August. Commercials start dropping in August so I’m told,”. Although, as exciting as it sounds, we must remember that this is not an official announcement and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Insomniac Games has yet to give us any solid announcement.
